Inaugural AGM 2011
On the 26th October 2011 we will hold our Inaugural Annual General Meeting 2011.
We will be using our AGM as to debate the question: 'What is the future of race equality?'
With the Equality Act under the spotlight in the Government’s Red Tape Consultation and the absence of a national strategy on race equality, we are using our AGM to host a debate on the future of race equality. The event will bring together the Black and Minority Ethnic voluntary and community sector (VCS) with the mainstream VCS and parliamentarians in a dynamic space for networking and discussion. The event will includes influential speakers from across the VCS and central government and a drinks reception.
All V4CE members have the opportunity to be elected to our Board of Trustees and vote at the AGM. Members have been individually contacted and sent nomination forms with the 14th October 2011 as the deadline for nominations.
The event will be held at the NCVO Building, Room 9, Regent's Wharf, London, N1 9RL.
