NBTA seek organisation to increase Living Transplants from BME communities

Living Transplants have been decreasing in the past two years. They are particularly scarce among BME communities, something which is costing people their lives. NBTA - the coordinating voice for BME transplant donation - are offering an opportunity for an organisation to reverse this trend, and increase the number of living transplants among BME communities. They have been allocated up to £90k of funding for an organisation which can tackle this issue, and meet their outcomes by March 2018.

Bids will be considered from anywhere in the country if they target a BME community, but priority will be given to bids covering specific parts of London and Leicester and targeted at specific BME communities. NBTA encourages bids from individual organisations as well as those working in partnerships.

Further details are set out here - including the Guidance Document which explains the criteria which they are looking for.
