DCLG's Cohesion Guidance

Voice4Change England lobbied hard for changes to the DCLG's Cohesion Guidance for Funders draft proposals and submitted a response to the DCLG in May 2008.

The consultation events generated publicity in Third Sector magazine. Arjumand Kazmi, Voice4Change England Head of Policy, has also had a letter about the issues published by the Bolton News.

Southall Black Sisters

In 2008 we supported Southall Black Sisters in their fight for continued funding from Ealing Council. We attended the High Court demonstration when the appeal against the decision was heard and welcomed the victory in accepting the right of the BME Third Sector to exist.
